Driving Maine (Anna)

by on June 27, 2014

Today, we woke up to the rain. Last night, all of the grocery stores within a one-hour driving radius were closed, so we ate English muffins, bagels, and sausage for breakfast. By then, the rain had stopped. Then, we went to the Franklin Roosevelt summer home on Campobello, and ate a picnic style lunch (the rest of yesterday’s chicken poppers) in the rain. Then, there was a lot more driving. Right now we are in Bar Harbor, a town with a LOT of ice cream stores. But we didn’t go to any yet. We saw a really pretty sunset, and went back to the hotel room.
