Nature day (Anna)

by on June 29, 2014

Today involved a lot of nature. We first went on the cog railway, then went on a hike. The cog railway was really fun. We learned all about Mt. Washington, and how the winds are some of the strongest in the world, and how it has the record for highest wind recorded by a manned weather station. It was a lot of fun, and apparently we came on one of the only days this year that was clear enough to see pretty far out, and dry. Then, we went on a hike. On the hike, we got bitten by a LOT of weird bugs even though we were wearing bugscreen, and I now have about nine bug bites that itch a lot. Overall, today was very fun, and ended with a lot of bug bites.
