Last day in Boston (Anna)

by on July 6, 2014

Today was our last full day in Boston. We saw the rest of the Freedom Trail, including the USS Constitution. After seeing the ship, we climbed the 297 steps to the top of the Bunker Hill Memorial, which turned our legs to jello. The tower was really creepy, because at the top you could look all the way down a hole in the floor to the ground. Then, we went to lunch. We ate lunch at the restaurant where Paul Revere ate, and we watched Wimbledon. Sadly, Rodger Federer lost to Novak Djokovic in the finals. Then, we rode the subway. The subway was not very nice, and I liked them in London, France, and everywhere else a lot more. After the subway, we went to the Apple store. This Apple store was really cool, because it has three levels, instead of the usual one or two. After the Apple store, we went home. Overall, today was really tiring, because we walked over ten miles.
