A Day of Tennis (Anna)

by on July 9, 2014

Today, we went to the International Tennis Hall of Fame Championship. We saw a lot of really cool players, like Lleyton Hewitt, and John Isner. I almost caught a ball signed by Ivo Karlovic, but it bounced off my hand 😭. We also saw the person with the fastest official serve record, and the person with the fastest unofficial serve record. The players were consistently hitting over 100 miles per hour serves, and barely ever double faulted. Then, we saw a doubles tournament with Lleyton Hewitt in it, and it was really cool. Then, we visited the Hall of Fame. We saw a dress worn by Serena Williams in the Olympics, and saw Nick Bolletieri teaching a clinic and coaching a girl who looked like a pro, but nobody knew her name. After seeing all the tennis that there was today, we went back to the hotel. After swimming at the hotel, we ate dinner at a really loud and good Mexican restaurant on a pier nearby. After dinner, we ate Ice cream at a nearby stand. Then, we came back to the hotel, and are now blogging.

I didn’t even know there was a Tennis Museum, but why not, there’s a museum for everything else!
