That was a good one :P (Alex)

by on July 14, 2014

Today, we drove to Philadelphia. Along the way, we thought that our Garmin was stolen, so we went to Best Buy to get a new one. To make no suspense, we found it later, but we like the new one more. We drove down the New Jersey Turnpike, and got off at Philadelphia. We then went to see the Historical District. Some of the things we saw were the Liberty Bell, and a replica of the Declaration of Independence. We could not spend a lot of time there, as the museum closed at 5:00 and we got there at about 3:00. I really liked the new museum that was built. We only got 30 minutes in this museum, because it was the last thing we did in the museum area. After that, we went to dinner. We had cheese steaks, and we enjoyed them. We got a surprise (screenshots from afterwards at the hotel).

As Dad says [when there is a close and loud lightning strike], “That was a good one :P”. There were also the annoying beeps and boops that we all “love” that the NWS gives us for flash flood warnings. The storms have now ended, so we are going to be going to bed soon.
