The “Sunshine” State (Alex)

by on August 8, 2014

Today, we drove to Milton, Florida (near Pensacola, Florida). We woke up to a (quite literally) screaming parrot that seemed quite incapable of not exercising her vocal cords with a more-than-3-second break. [Our friend Cindy’s pet African Gray parrot “Molly”]. After driving to the Alabama-Florida border, it started raining really hard. On top of this, Garmin took us an extra 40 miles (in the rain). Once we got to Milton, we hung out with Cousin Olivia and Uncle David for a while, and gave Olivia a present (that came in a red bag that you will see everywhere in the Stanford Shopping Center.

Olivia learned how to bike today, and we went to the park (we left feeling motion-sick) [because we spun each other on the merry go rounds]. Lastly, we had some good ‘ole southern cooking (including Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce). This is what we did today.

How many negatives make a positive? I might be incapable of not knowing the answer.
