Yes, I know, “Benjamin has left the library, Benjamin has been saved.”

Today, we went to the beach (again). I am not complaining about that, though I got sunburned. The waves were medium sized, but we kept on saying that if we stayed in the ocean long enough, we would end up at 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney. [hearing awkward argument about how “Ben is Olivia’s Uncle”  Olivia: “He said Hot Dog”] After the beach, we went to a sand castle building class [hearing:
“why is there ground beef on the floor?”]. We learned how to build sand castles, and then built some. I worked with Ben, and built a DALEK on top of a TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions in Space). This is what we did today.

[David: I’ve been trying to figure out how to annotate Alex’s post to make it make sense, and I just can’t. He was in a silly mood, blogging in the living room while there was a lot of other conversation, and so he injected the things he was hearing into his post . And all the other quotes are references to the science fiction show “Dr. Who” that the big kids are watching.]

But…. Sandcastle building class was great fun….

Really enjoy the snapshot showing Sand Sculpture Team A & B (that’s Alex and Ben). Very pleased everyone is enjoying the beach holiday. Sounds of the Platters and Drifters flow with the breeze and all the Alabama spouses are teaching their foreign/not from here husbands how to dance the regional shag.
