Carddiffff (Alex)

by on June 28, 2015

Today, we went to Cardiff. Unfortunately, there were a couple of problems with the trains. First, we originally thought that the trains to Cardiff left on the hour, every hour, and that the train ride was 2 hrs. long. After checking the TFL and National Rail websites, I figured out that the trains left on the half hour, every hour, and was 2.5 hrs. long. With this, I realised that we had to wake everyone up, eat breakfast, pack, and be at Surbiton Rail Station in 1 hour. Which we did. Barely. We did get our picture of the Harry Potter pose at Surbiton Rail Station…. (Sort of….)

We then did a couple of transfers, including an incorrect District Line train, and finally got to Cardiff. Oh, sorry. Newcastle. Of course, they had to do repairs today, that caused us to have to sit in a bus with everyone else who had come from Southest UK to Cardiff. Followed by heading to the Dr. Who Experience. Anyway, they did a pretty good job, and it probably brought a lot of money into the Welsh economy. It started with an ‘adventure’ and ended with a museum. The adventure was kind of fun, but it was cool seeing the original props.

Lastly, we had some Syrian food. My chicken was really good. This is what we did today.
