Rachel’s view (by Rachel)

by on June 28, 2015

The past few days have been long but great. Yesterday Alex, Uncle David and I watched the qualifying for the Formula E championships and we were able to stand just feet away from the track as cars were driving by at 150 miles per hour. I’ve never been to a car race before and seeing how fast the cars really go is incredible. After the qualifying was over, we went to Hyde Park to see Taylor Swift perform in front of 65,000 people. The show that she puts on is absolutely amazing and to see how much talent she has as a singer and a performer was awesome. After a very late night last night, we woke up pretty early today and hopped on a train to Cardiff to go to the Dr. Who Experience. As I have only seen one episode of the show and had absolutely no idea what was going on while watching it, I unfortunately was in the same confused state of mind today; however I did have a great time and was very interested in everything that was going on. They had the costumes from all of the doctors and they all look very dapper. The monsters they come up with are also very detailed and I can assume they would be very frightening to encounter.

After all of the late nights in a row, we’re calling it an early night tonight so we can head to Bath bright and early tomorrow.
